This is just one of over 9,000 recipes we've collected since early 1996. Many of these recipes have been passed down from family member to family member and then shared with friends and then, with Mike Pitzer's Salsa Recipes. When it comes to recipes, the real secret is that all of our recipes always have been, and always will be free!
Directions:
- Put all ingredients into a bowl. Mix well. let sit on counter for at least an hour, covered with plastic wrap, stirring every once in a while.
- Before serving, add a sprinkling of cilantro, fresh or dried. If you like, you can add a chopped garlic clove. We like to eat it with ff tortilla chips, or on rice. Of course, you can make as big or small a batch as you like. Just play with it, and you'll get the right combo of vinegar, salt and sugar. If you like the heat (which I don't), add jalapeños.
